Our goal for high school student camps

  • Give high school students an opportunity to enjoy science. (Hear Marianne talking about it at TEDxYouth.)
  • Provide high school students tools for Science Fair projects.
  • Recruit high school miRcore volunteers.

            * In-depth computational biology research throughout the school year.

            * Opportunity to be leaders of GIDAS (Genes In Diseases And Symptoms) club.

            * Prepare high school students for the Genes and Health Contest.

            * Prepare high school students to present at the Research Conference and publish an abstract.

            * Learn various aspects of computers, science, and medicine in real world.

  • May write a research paper in the Jounal of Emerging Investigators.

  2. Proof of free lunch or reduced price lunch.
  3. Please have your student answer the following questions: Why do you want to take this camp? What are your favorite subjects and why?
  4. Please indicate how much you can provide of the total fee as well.
