Our goals for high school student camps
- To give high school students an opportunity to enjoy science (Hear Marianne talking about it at TEDxYouth).
- To provide high school students tools for Science Fair projects.
- To recruit high school miRcore volunteers.
- In-depth computational biology research throughout the school year.
- Opportunity to be GIDAS (Genes In Diseases And Symptoms) club leaders.
- Prepare high school students for the Genes and Health Contest.
- Prepare high school students to present at the Research Conference and publish an abstract.
- Learn various aspects of computers, science, and medicine in the real world.
- May write a research paper for publiation in the Jounal of Emerging Investigators.

We have a limited number of partial scholarships available for students. If you would like to apply for one, please submit the copies of the following documents.
- First two pages of Federal income tax return for 2016 or 2015 (if you did not file for 2016 yet).
- Proof of free lunch or reduced price lunch.
- Please have your student answer the following questions: Why do you want to take this camp? What are your favorite subjects and why?
- Please indicate how much you can provide of the total fee as well.
