2021 Biology Workshop

Genes, Computational  Biology, and Cancer

This virtual workshop is for middle schoolers anywhere interested in genetics, cancer, and computational biology research. Students will learn about the amazing world of computational biology using analytical tools including the GDC portal and String-DB in order to analyze genetic mutations in cancer. Participants need NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE to attend this workshop. Attendees will have the chance to conduct research alongside like-minded individuals in small groups with a designated research mentor.
