Dear miRcorers,
I am excited about the UM GIDAS Invited Speaker Series talk this Saturday noon-1 pm. Dr. Koschmann (MD/PhD, Assistant Professor) is a research doctor taking care of children with brain cancer at the University of Michigan CS Mott Children’s Hospital.
All miRcorers (students and parents) and GIDAS members are invited to the talk. Please check your email for an RSVP link.
Our main meeting will be at 2-4 pm, as usual, with the heatmap session 30 min before the main meeting.

Upcoming events
Genes in Space Contest participation
Every year, MVP groups participate in the Genes in Space contest. Groups will have time to work on the project during the March 20 and April 3 meetings.\
2nd Annual Biology Workshop for middle schoolers: April 10th, 2-5 pm (EST)
MVP committees are working together to prepare for this workshop to raise donations for microgrants. DNA sequences in cancer projects will be guided.
