See our Summer Camp page for more information.
There is no specific application deadline. Campers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
After we review the essay in your application form, we will inform you of the admission decision within 7-10 business days.
Among our several options, we suggest our Computational Biology (CB) camp. It is a prerequisite for our other camps, and is the most foundational camp to join MVP (MiRcore Volunteer Program) afterwards.
To join MVP, students need to meet two requirements: completion of our Computational Biology Summer Camp and a current annual membership.
During the Computational Biology (CB) camp, we don’t teach coding or programming related things. If you want to do more coding related activities, then take a look at our Advanced Computational Biology (ACB) and/or Biotechnology Sequencing (BTS) camps after completing CB.
Students need to choose one format (either virtual or in-person) for the entire week. This is because students are assigned to specific groups at the beginning of the program and work together throughout the session.
International students can join our camps! However, we are unable to accept campers from countries with large time differences for the virtual camp, as the schedule may make it difficult to stay focused. Campers from these countries are welcome to join our in-person camps instead.
Our camps are day camps, so students traveling from outside the area should arrange their own accommodations.
